About List Reconcile
List Reconcile is a small independent tool for checking two lists. It compares the presence and frequency of text values and lets you inspect their original records. You can use it for identifiers, stock codes, filenames, or other values that need exact matching.
The tool keeps a distinction that is easy to miss: a value can appear in both lists while appearing more often in one. The result table shows the two counts side by side. It also keeps the remaining CSV columns available as context.
Comparison and export run on your device. The first version accepts pasted text, TXT, CSV, and TSV. It does not import Excel workbooks directly; copy cells or export a sheet as CSV. There is no account, payment, fuzzy matching, or automatic transaction pairing.
The examples are fictional and exist to explain the matching rules. List Reconcile is not affiliated with Microsoft or any of the other comparison tools. It does not provide accounting decisions or verify that a transaction was paid.
